XV Festival Internacional de Poesía “Curtea de Arges Poetry Nights”

Tras la intensa actividad de la semana de orgullo LGTB, y la multitudinaria marcha en la que una vez más salimos a las calles para reivindicar nuestro derecho a existir en esta sociedad que tantas veces nos quiere enviar a ese oscuro armario, vuelvo a compartir con ustedes mis últimas noticias. En breve me marcho a Rumanía, donde he sido invitada a participar en el XV Festival Internacional de Poesía “Curtea de Arges Poetry Nights”.

He visto el programa y más vale que descanse un poco para poder gozar de un sinfín de actividades culturales y participar en recitales poéticos junto a más de 50 invitados de diversos países y por supuesto, de muchos y muchas poetas rumanas. Desde aquí agradezco enormemente el trabajo de coordinación que han realizado los directores del festival, los poetas Dumitru M. Ion y Carolina Ilica, de la International Academy Orient-Occident. Como parte del festival se presentará la antología número 15 del Festival que incluye poemas de todos los participantes, en diversas lenguas así como traducidos al rumano. Les dejo un poema que escribí en inglés y que desafortunadamente no he traducido al castellano, pero sí ha sido traducido al rumano. Al final del poema incluyo una lista de los poetas participantes.

Sunset drive (Richmond – Australia)

Golden coin
                 sliding
                       in the sky
Resting seductively
              on top of the grey bridge


Cars
          glide
                    by
Into the approaching night.


Buildings put on evening dresses
sunset gowns of red
             yellow, orange lights
Luminous tall boxes
           with some eyes shut.


In the distance
            a white boomerang in the sky
                          sends me a white smile
As I follow a moving red serpent
             shedding its skin of bright lights


And as I approach the Yarra river
             phosphorescent twins dance in the night.
White shiny serpents
             flash past.
Green allowances
             yellow warnings...
                               red halts.

With its dress of neon lights
              Richmond’s Skipping Girl
                              jumps the rope undisturbed
by the evening rush
             of cars driving home.



Sunset drive (Richmond – Australia)

Monedă de aur
                lunecând
                           în cer
Odihnindu-se seducător
                pe coama podului gri

Mașinile
             lunecă
                      trecând
În noaptea care e pe aproape.


Clădirile îmbracă rochii de seară
                  toalete de-asfințit roşii,
                                 galbene, oranj.
Înalte cutii luminoase
                    cu câţiva ochi închişi.


În depărtare
                 un bumerang alb
                       mi trimite din cer un zâmbet alb

În vreme ce urmăresc un şarpe roşu mişcător
                  Care îşi lasă pielea de lumini aprinse


Iar când mă apropii de fluviul Yarra
                  gemeni fosforescenți dansează în noapte.
Şerpi albi, lucitori
                  scânteiază în trecere.
Încuviințări verzi
                   avertismente galbene…
                                    stopuri roșii.

În rochia ei de neon,
              Fata săltăreaţă din Richmond
                       sare coarda, neabătută
De zumzetul de seară
                        al mașinilor în drum spre casă.
